About Me

Greetings! I'm a seasoned and compassionate professional, a 52-year-old individual with a heart for healing. My journey has been blessed with a beautiful marriage and the joy of raising three children, along with the excitement of welcoming a new granddaughter into our lives.

Academically, I hold a Masters in Licensed Professional Counseling and boast extensive qualifications, being a Licensed LMHC in Florida, with MCAP and ICADC certifications in the same state. Over the past 11 years, I have passionately dedicated myself to the substance use and mental health field, where I currently thrive as a Private Practice Psychotherapist.

My educational background is enriched with a Bachelors in Addiction Counseling and an Associates in Business Management, earned back in 1990 from Lehigh County Community College in Pennsylvannia.

In my therapeutic endeavors, I adopt a multifaceted approach, drawing from various effective models. The Wellness Model of Counseling forms the cornerstone of my practice, as it emphasizes both the strengths within individuals and the significance of daily choices that pave the way to personal growth. Additionally, I integrate Solution-Focused Therapy, skillfully guiding clients to explore solutions to their challenges and uncover the hidden reservoirs of strength within them. Cognitive Behavior Therapy, with its proven efficacy in addressing a wide range of concerns like depression, anxiety disorders, substance abuse, eating disorders, and PTSD, is another vital aspect of my approach. And finally, the empowering art of Motivational Interviewing forms an integral part of my toolkit, enabling me to uplift and motivate my clients on their journey.

As your trusted therapist, I aim to create a gentle and relaxed atmosphere where we can engage in transformative conversations. Empowering you to explore your inner potential and make positive strides is at the heart of what I do. Together, we'll navigate life's challenges with compassion and understanding, unlocking the doors to a brighter and more fulfilling future.

I'm genuinely excited to embark on this journey of growth and healing alongside you.
